Dehradun, 7 Jun: Graphic Era wore a festive look as its students were offered packages worth more than Rs 26 lakhs, each. Graphic Era Hill University achieved this milestone by breaking its own record of Rs 16 lakh annual packages for MBA and BTech students. The students celebrated this grand achievement by dancing to the tunes of ‘dhol’ and DJ.
Akanksha Dhyani, Bhawana Gaur and Nimisha Agarwal of BTech (CSE) have been offered placement in the prestigious Adobe with a yearly package of Rs 26.21 lakhs, each. Soon after the announcement of this package, celebrations erupted in the campus. Other students from different department also joined in the celebrations.
Graphic Era Hill University students belonging to the departments of BTech, MBA, BCom (H), BBA, BCA, Mass Communications, Animation, Fashion Design, BA English (Hons) have received placement in national and international companies.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Dr Sanjay Jasola felicitated Akansha Dhyani, Bhawana Gaur and Nimisha Aggarwal for their achievement by presenting them with trophies. Dr Jasola said this was a historic day for the University as such placements can be achieved only by the best institutions of the world. It was a result of the hard work and dedication by the faculty members of the University.
Lokesh Singh, Amit Negi and Manish Chouhan of BTech. Department of the University have been selected for higher education in IIT Kanpur and IIIT Delhi. Pragya Nagpal has been selected for MS in the University of Texas.
University’s management department students Shruti Bahuguna, Kiran Nautiyal, Gaurabh Bharatar, Deepak Gupta, Vivek Rana, Shilpa Tiwari, Megha Pandit, Mayur Jung Rana, Shailesh Kumar Pangati and Bhupinder Singh Koshyari have received salary packages of Rs 16.30 lakhs annually in the well-known company Squareyard. On the other hand, Mayank Rawat, Paras Chand, Vaibhav Gupta of the University’s Mechanical Department got placement worth Rs 9.4 lakh annually in the country’s renowned company Byju’s. Pooja Mamgai and Manas Joshi of B.Com Honors have been offered a total of Rs 9.4 lakh per annum by the world’s leading company Ernst & Young.
