Dehradun, 26 Dec: Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of the Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh.
In his message issued on the eve of Prakash Parv, today, the Governor said that the life of Guru Gobind Singh is an unparalleled example of sacrifice, courage, valour, and heroism. He dedicated his entire life to the protection of religion, culture, and humanity, and paved the way for establishing an ideal society based on the values of truth, justice, and compassion.
The Governor added that, through his teachings and ideals, Guru Gobind Singh showed the entire world the path of love, equality, and selfless service. His life inspires all to remain steadfast on the path of truth, to stand fearlessly against injustice, and to strengthen brotherhood and harmony in society. He added that the life philosophy and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh continue to serve as guiding principles for the welfare of humanity even today.
