DEHRADUN, 20 Sep: Students of Graphic Era Global School communicated a message of cleanliness here, today, by taking out an awareness rally. The rally was taken out in the premises of Graphic Era Deemed to be University, where the children presented a street play and underlined the importance of cleanliness. The children were seen carrying posters and placards with slogans like “Clean Doon, Green Doon” and “Say no to plastic”. The highlight of the rally was children presenting handmade badges to the Chairman of Graphic Era Group, Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala along with the faculty, students and other staff members. These badges had cleanliness slogans written on them. The little ones also informed people about the importance of separating dry and wet garbage and not throwing garbage on the road while driving cars. Shalini Rawat, Principal, Graphic Era Global School, motivated the students and said that being responsible citizens of the country, everybody should not only clean their homes and work places, but also the surroundings and environment.
