Graphic Era students will now learn GIS tools, mapping from Cyber Tech experts

Dehradun, 21 Apr: Students of Graphic Era will now be trained in GIS tools and GIS mapping by the experts of Cyber Tech Systems and Software Limited. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system that analyses and displays geographically referenced information. It uses data that is attached to a unique location.

Graphic Era Deemed University and Cyber Tech signed an MoU on this, here, today.

Amid increasing demand for GIS experts and professionals across the globe, this MoU is being viewed as a great gift for the students of Graphic Era. After getting trained in this technology, the future engineers will have more lucrative career options.

On the occasion, Chairman, Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala said that this partnership between Graphic Era Deemed University and Cyber Tech Systems would not only augment the academic exposure and knowledge of the students, but also help them become future leaders amid fast updating technological changes.

The MoU was signed at Graphic Era Deemed University today. Director General of the university, Prof (Dr) Sanjay Jasola and Senior Vice President, Cyber Tech, Sameer Gupte signed the MoU. As per the MoU, Cyber Tech will provide training and internship to the students of Graphic Era Deemed University. In turn, the latter will offer its academic resources, research capabilities and infrastructure to support the joint endeavour. Those who complete their internships successfully will be eligible for placement at Cyber Tech. During training, the students will also learn satellite imaging and the use of GIS in sectors like agriculture, natural resources, hydrology and water resource management.
