Dehradun, 30 Aug: Student of Graphic Era Deemed University, Lakhveer Singh has been selected for the Nationals in Powerlifting Championship.
Seventeen-year-old Lakhveer is a student of Mechanical Engineering in Graphic Era. He secured a place in the nationals after winning the gold medal in the state powerlifting championship held on 24 August. Before this, he has won many medals including 2 gold and 1 bronze medal in North Indian powerlifting and 1 gold and 1 silver in state powerlifting championship.
Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr Kamal Ghanshala expressed his confidence in Lakhveer’s success at the nationals and congratulated him for his achievement.
