Dehradun, 25 Aug: State Health Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat along with his wife paid obeisance at the Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib, here, on Saturday. He had a formal meeting with Mahant Devendra Das, and they had discussions on various issues of importance.
On Dr Rawat’s arrival at the Darbar Sahib, he and his wife were welcomed as per the tradition. Mahant Devendra Das gifted a memento of Shri Darbar Sahib to the health minister. During the meeting between the two, the state’s health services were discussed. The Health Minister praised the work done by institutions of the Shri Guru Ram Rai Group. In particular, he appreciated the healthcare facilities at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, its doctors and staff.
The Mahant gave information about the school education being imparted at SGRR Schools run by the SGRR Education Mission and the higher education being imparted by Shri Guru Ram Rai University.
He stated that SGRR Education Mission has been providing quality education at reasonable rates for decades. Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat expressed confidence that, in future also, the Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, SGRR Education Mission and Shri Guru Ram Rai University will work in the service of humanity and public welfare.
