Dehradun, 12 Oct: Senior IAS officer Ashok Kumar, currently holding charge as Secretary (In-charge), Higher Education, passed away today after a prolonged illness. He had been admitted to a private hospital some days ago as his condition had worsened. He was suffering from Cancer.
Senior bureaucrats and politicians have expressed grief over his demise and offered their condolences.
