DEHRADUN, 6 Jan: Garhwal (Pauri) MP BC Khanduri has revealed that he has approved installation of 2000 of solar LED lights in his parliamentary constituency from MPLAD funds. Also, that 80 percent of these lights will be installed in rural areas, while 20 out of 2000 solar LEDs will be installed in the village Deoli Manigram, which he has adopted as MP Adarsh Gram.
The former chief minister and union minister stated that the funds for installation of these solar LEDs have already been released and the installation would be completed soon. Necessary instructions had already been issued to the executing agency on the installation of these lights. An expenditure of around Rs 5 crores is expected to be incurred in the process, according to Khanduri.
