CM attends Ram Katha in New Delhi

Delhi, 29 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the 18th congregation related to Ram Katha organised by the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Gyan-Yagya Organising Committee at Badrinath Temple located in Vinod Nagar Ward, East Delhi.
On this occasion, Dhami also heard the Ram Katha which being recited by Bhagwatcharya Dr Geeta Ram Tripathi.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that it is his good fortune to be able to get the opportunity to hear the Ram Katha. He said that the entire life of Lord Ram is deeply philosophical and meaningful. Even if the common person is able to follow the path shown by Lord Ram a bit, life will become meaningful. Dhami reminded that when Lord Ram was exiled to the forest by his father, he dutifully obeyed and thus showed to the world a son’s dharma. As the eldest brother, he was a prime example of a brother’s dharma towards his siblings. When Lord Ram met Kevat and Sugreeva, he showed to the world what should be the dharma of a person as a friend also. In his fight against the evil, Ravan, he showed what righteousness was and, even as a king, Lord Ram proved to be the best example of a ruler’s Dharma. The CM asserted that it was for these reasons that he was called Maryada Purushottam and, even today, the people pray for Ram Rajya.
The CM said that every incident and every decision of Lord Ram’s life is enough to turn an individual into an ideal person. Ram is the embodiment of peace as well as power. He said that it is a matter of great fortune for all that the country will be soon witnessing a very special moment on 22 January, 2024, when Ramlala will be seated in his birthplace. He also asserted that the path shown by Lord Ram always helped him in choosing the right path in life.
The Chief Minister said that as the chief servant of Uttarakhand, whatever decisions he takes following the path of righteousness, they automatically turn out to be right in the interest of the society.
On this occasion, Vinod Nagar Ward’s Municipal Councillor Ravi Negi, organiser and National Horticulture Board Chairman Birendra Juyal, former Municipal Councillor Satya Joshi, and dignitaries including Vijay Juyal, Himnad Mahila Sangh President Gayatri Zaida, Meena Joshi, Vijay Prakash Bhatt, Mor Singh Rawat and Bhim Singh Bhandari were also present.
