Maharaj meets Indian Ambassadors to various countries

Dehradun, 17 Oct: Senior Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj today made a courtesy call on the Indian Ambassadors to 7 countries who are currently visiting Uttarakhand. The courtesy call was made at a local hotel here located on Mussoorie Road.

Those whom Maharaj met today were Ambassador of India to Sweden, Tanmay Lal; Ambassador of India to Tajikistan, Viraj Singh; Ambassador of India to Panama, Upendra Singh Rawat; Ambassador of India to Brunei, Alok Amitabh; Ambassador of India to Kenya, Namgya Khampa; Ambassador of India to Slovenia, Namrata S Kumar and Ambassador of India to Algeria, Gaurav Ahluwalia.

He discussed with the Indian ambassadors the possibilities of promotion of tourism in Uttarakhand also briefed them about the activities and works undertaken by the state tourism department for the promotion of tourism in the state.
