Medical Camps held at Amshore, Thar

Dehradun, 14 Nov: To commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence, and to culminate Vijay Diwas celebrations, nine medical camps are being organised in remote areas of Garhwal region.
As part of this initiative, the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre organised the fourth medical camp for ex-servicemen, their dependants and civilians in Amshore.
The medical care was provided by Medical Officers, MNS officers and NA of Military Hospital, Lansdowne.
The total number of persons who attended was 205. These included 7 ex-servicemen; 48 ex-servicemen dependants, 35 dependants of serving personnel and 115 civilians. These included 79 Males, 85 Females and 41 Children. As many as 28 individuals have been referred to MH Lansdowne for detailed screening.
Also, a medical camp was held in Thal, today, by 161 MH with the administrative support of 8 Kumaon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The team was led by Medical Officer Major Shravan Kumar V of 161 MH. The total patients number of patients seen was 113, including 27 ESM and 86 civilians.
