Dehradun, 5 Jan: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi conducted marathon public meetings in 10 wards of the Mussoorie Assembly constituency as part of the election campaign for the upcoming municipal elections. He addressed voters in Dobhalwala, Vijay Colony, Kishan Nagar, Jakhan, Dhorankhas, Rajpur, Malasi, Aryanagar, Doon Vihar, and Salawala wards, urging the residents to vote for the BJP’s mayoral candidate Saurabh Thapliyal and all the BJP ward candidates on 23 January.
In his speech, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that, on the one side, BJP candidate Saurabh Thapliyal leads a party with a nationalist and Antyodaya ideology under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is the most popular leader in the world and whose leadership has seen the construction of the Ram Mandir. On the other side, there is a party that is opposed to Sanatan, which has only engaged in corruption for the past 60 years. He added that, if anyone has worked to eliminate this corruption, it is Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the state.
During his address, Joshi urged the people of Dehradun to vote for the BJP in the upcoming municipal elections. He said, “This battle is between Ram devotees and Ram opponents, as these people have always opposed the construction of the Ram Mandir.” Joshi also inaugurated the election offices of party candidates in Ward 1, Malasi, and Ward 12, Kishan Nagar.
In all the wards, mayoral candidate Saurabh Thapliyal also addressed the gatherings, urging voters to support the BJP to build a strong and effective board in the municipal corporation. He shared his priorities and requested the public to vote for the BJP’s candidates. During the events, several local residents joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The events were also attended by Siddharth Umesh Agarwal, former Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, BJYM National Vice President Neha Joshi, Mandal President Jyoti Kotiya, Ashok Verma, Dr Babita Sahotra, and candidates from various wards, including Bhavna Chaudhary, Mohan Bahuguna, Nandini Sharma, Amit Kumar, Alpana Rana, Alka Kulhan, Anurag Singh, Meenakshi Nautiyal, Yogesh, Bhupendra Kathait, along with hundreds of party workers and local residents.
