Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurates election offices of BJP municipal candidates

Dehradun, 8 Jan: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated the election offices of BJP candidates for the upcoming municipal elections in the Dharankhas Ward, Jakhan Ward, and Dobhawala Ward of his Mussoorie Assembly constituency. The BJP candidates for these wards are Alpana Rana, Amit, and Mohan Bahuguna, respectively. During the inauguration, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi appealed to the public to vote in favour of BJP in the upcoming municipal elections.

Minister Joshi stated that the BJP is the world’s largest democratic party. He added that the policies and programmes of BJP have won the hearts of all sections of society, which is why people are supporting the party. He highlighted that the BJP government has implemented several important schemes and policies for the welfare of the poor, farmers, women, and youth. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that this decade belongs to Uttarakhand, and under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the double-engine government is working continuously to make Uttarakhand one of the leading states in the country.

Joshi also urged the residents of Dehradun to cast their votes in large numbers on 23 January. He appealed to everyone to exercise their voting rights during this festival of democracy, emphasising that every vote would determine the direction of the country’s development. He also encouraged all voters to fulfil their duties. Additionally, he appealed to vote in favour of BJP candidates, including the mayoral candidate for Dehradun, Saurabh Thapliyal.

During the event, Minister Ganesh Joshi welcomed Nisha Rani, a former Congress candidate from Ward 9, into the BJP.

The event was attended by several prominent leaders including Siddharth Agarwal, Neha Joshi, National Vice President of BJYM, former Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Mandal President Pradeep Rawat, Greater Nagar General Secretary Surendra Rana, candidate Alpana Rana, candidate Amit Kumar, candidate Mohan Bahuguna, Niranjan Dobhal, Ashish Thapa, and hundreds of local residents.
