Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani will also share their vision on U’khand

DEHRADUN, 7 Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Destination Uttarakhand – Global Investors’ Summit at the FRI Campus at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow. He will stay at the Investors Summit for around three hours. During his stay in Dehradun, Modi will also meet Foreman Gabar Singh Negi, who was one of the workers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel.
As per the scheduled programme, Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the helipad of the Indian Military Academy at 10:20 a.m. and will be welcomed by Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the IMA Helipad, which is quite near to the FRI campus where he will inaugurate the summit.
Four sessions are scheduled for the first day of the summit. In the inaugural session, six leading industrialists of the country, including Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, will address the gathering and present their vision about the investment possibilities in Uttarakhand.
The PM will be welcomed amidst cultural presentations along with a human chain for a distance of about one kilometre between the main venue of the event, Forest Research Institute, located at a distance of about three kilometres from there.
CM Dhami will deliver the welcome address. After this, Prime Minister Modi’s address is scheduled to begin at 11:35 a.m. Modi will also interact with the leading industrialists of the country and the world and spend some time with them at the PM Lounge set up there. Modi is expected to leave the the FRI campus for the IMA helipad between 12:30 and 1 p.m. and from there will return to Delhi.
The country’s top industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Baba Ramdev, Sajjan Jindal, Sanjeev Puri, Banmali Agarwal and Charanjit Banerjee will present their vision about the investment possibilities in Uttarakhand. On the first day, there will be four sessions related to the automobile, pharma, education, health and real estate sectors. At least 3 Union Ministers and many prominent entrepreneurs from the country and the world will participate in these sessions. Ambassadors of many countries will also present their views.
Many special guests are expected to attend the inaugural session of this event. These include the three Union Ministers of the Government of India, 7 Cabinet Ministers of the State Government, all former Chief Ministers, MPs, MLAs and many special guests.
The Global Investors’ Summit 2023 will be attended by as many as 15 High Commissioners/Ambassadors/ Heads of Mission. Spain, Slovenia, Nepal, Cuba, Greece, Austria, Japan, Saudi Arabia, etc., are some of the participating countries. Apart from this, prominent industrialists will also be present.
This year the state government has set a target of hundred percent grounding. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch grounding of projects worth Rs 44,000 crores during the inaugural session of the Global Investor Committee. Of these, 16 projects related to manufacturing sector and tourism infrastructure sector are included. The grounding of so many projects on the very first day of the Global Investor Committee is expected to give further impetus to the economic pace of the state, the government claims. This will be the first time that grounding of a project on such a large scale is being started. There will be a total of eight sessions on the second and the concluding day of the Summit and these sessions will be related to tourism and civil aviation, infrastructure, forest and allied sector, partner country, industry and start up, AYUSH and wellness, horticulture and floriculture besides partner country sessions.
