DEHRADUN, 15 Nov: Renowned mountaineer and Padma Bhushan awardee Bachendri Pal on Saturday donated a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The cheque was presented to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on her behalf by Vinod Uniyal, Vice Chairperson of the State Women Entrepreneurship Council, during a brief ceremony held here. The Chief Minister conveyed his gratitude for Bachendri Pal’s generous social contribution, observing that a spirit of cooperation and service strengthens society during moments of crisis. He remarked that such acts of support not only provide essential assistance to those in need but also motivate others to work for the broader cause of public welfare.
