BJP National President visits Tapkeshwar Temple, has breakfast at BJP worker’s residence

DEHRADUN, 30 May: On the final day of his Uttarakhand tour, BJP National President Nitin Nabin began on Saturday morning with prayers at the historic Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple and he offering special worship to lord Shiva and sought prosperity and well-being for the nation and the State. The temple premises reverberated with Vedic chants during the ceremony.

Following this, Nabin visited booth number 140 in Tapkeshwar Colony, Garhi Cantt, where he joined state BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt and state general secretary (organisation) Ajaey Kumar for breakfast at the residence of booth president of the party, Kishore Kumar. During the informal interaction, he engaged with local party workers, gathered feedback on ground realities and the implementation of government schemes, and also met the family members of the booth president.

Continuing his organisational engagements, Nabin reached booth number 138 at Dakra Bazaar and held an important meeting with the booth committee at the residence of booth president Rajesh Kumar Bhandari. He interacted with each worker and described the booth as the strongest unit of the party, emphasising the resolve of ‘Booth won, election won’. He urged the party workers to remain continuously active among the people and shared strategies for victory based on grassroots realities.
Among those present during the meetings were attended by state general secretary Tarun Bansal, state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan, local representatives, senior party officials and a large number of dedicated workers.
