Dehradun, 11 July: Aasha Malviya, a national athlete in track, mountaineering and avid cyclist, hailing from Rajghar district of Madhya Pradesh met General Offficer Commanding, Uttarakhand Sub Area, Major General Sanjeev Khatri on Monday on her arrival in Uttarakhand. This was the 24th State of her solo cycling mission to cover 25000 kms, going through 28 States of the country, since 01 Nov 2022. She has covered a distance of 19700 kms through 23 States so far.Through this mission, the athlete aims to spread and raise awareness of citizens towards ‘Women Safety and Empowerment’. During the meeting, the athlete was felicitated by Major General Khatri who further motivated her to achieve her ongoing mission with full vigour and high morale and wished her the very best for all future endeavours. The athlete heartily reciprocated and wished the very best to all Armed Forces personnel deployed in Uttarakhand.
