London, 14 Jul: ND Collective successfully hosted a Charity Sale and its second Uttarakhandi Community Meetup in Wembley, London, on 11 July, bringing members of the Uttarakhandi community together for a day centred on charity, culture and connection.
The event began with a Charity Sale featuring a selection of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products donated by influencers, PR professionals, content creators and members of the wider community.
Through the Charity Sale, ND Collective raised £1,000, which will be donated to support NGO initiatives in Uttarakhand, India, focused on children’s education.
The event held special significance for the ND Collective team as it also took place on the birthday of Managing Director Nishad Singh Kanyal.
“Since the event was taking place on Nishad’s birthday, we wanted to start the day by doing something meaningful. Instead of only celebrating, we wanted to use the occasion to give back and support a cause connected to Uttarakhand,” said Diksha Rathour, Founder and Creative Director of ND Collective.
The Charity Sale was followed by ND Collective’s second Uttarakhandi Community Meetup, at which attendees came together for Pahadi music, dance, cultural games, community conversations and an evening of Pahadi gupshup.
The event also celebrated Uttarakhand’s cultural identity, with attendees bringing a Pahadi touch through traditional attire, jewellery and other cultural elements.
Looking ahead, ND Collective aims to expand its work beyond community experiences by supporting Uttarakhand-based brands, entrepreneurs and start-up founders seeking to build visibility and explore opportunities in the UK market.
Drawing on experience in PR, marketing and community building, ND Collective aims to support brands through public relations, influencer marketing, social media, event campaigns and creative brand activations.
The long-term vision is to build stronger connections between Uttarakhand and the UK, creating opportunities for emerging businesses, founders and creative talent from the region to gain visibility and reach new audiences.
“Our aim is not only to host events. We want to use our platform and experience in PR, marketing and community building to create opportunities for people and businesses connected to Uttarakhand. We want to promote talent from our Pahad and help more people take their work to a wider audience,” said Rathour.
Founded by Diksha Rathour, Founder and Creative Director, and Nishad Singh Kanyal, Managing Director, ND Collective is a London-based community and creative platform that brings Uttarakhandis and the wider South Asian community together through cultural meetups, wellness events, day trips and community-led experiences.
Alongside its community initiatives, ND Collective works across PR, influencer marketing, social media, event campaigns and creative activations, with a wider vision of supporting brands and entrepreneurs looking to build their presence in the UK.
Following the success of its first Uttarakhandi Meetup on 10 May 2026, which received more than 340 registrations and expressions of interest, ND Collective has continued to create experiences that help people build friendships and stay connected to their cultural roots while living in the UK.
“Living away from Uttarakhand, many of us miss the feeling of community and familiarity. ND Collective is our way of creating a space where people can meet, connect and feel a little closer to home. In the future, we also want to use this platform to promote our people, our culture and businesses from Uttarakhand,” said Nishad Singh Kanyal, Managing Director of ND Collective.
