Dehradun, 23 Dec: Olympus High hosted its Annual Activity Show within the school premises here today. The programme began with the traditional lighting of diyas, followed by an opening address by the Middle School Coordinator, Sarika.
The event commenced with a soulful rendition of ‘Rama Rama’ by the young Olympians of Classes IV and V, followed by a Hindi play, Idgah, presented by students of Classes I to III.
The programme continued with an English play performed by students of Classes IV and V. This was followed by an western dance presented by the students of Kindergarten and Class I. The students of Nursery to Kindergarten then delighted the audience with a dance performance, titled ‘Tai Tai Fish’. A special collaboration with Jaswant Modern School added charm to the event, featuring a melodious duet song and an English theorisation.
Students of Classes I to III returned to the stage with an English play, titled Cactus, followed by a traditional Bihu dance performed by students of Classes II and III.
The latter part of the show included an English dance by Classes IV and V, a traditional Nati dance by Classes IV and V, and a group song “Uthe Sab Ke Kadam”, followed by a Christmas carol.
The event concluded with an address by the Managing Director, Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla, who motivated the students to work hard, take risks, and strive for excellence. The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Shaileja Hazarika.
