Mussoorie, 2 Jan: An ‘Akshat Kalash Yatra’ was taken out, here, from the Tehri Bus Stand to Gandhi Chowk. A large number of Ram devotees, including RSS workers, participated. Flowers were also showered by the devotees on the Kalash Yatra. The whole atmosphere was focused on Ram and slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram were also heard. Emphasis was laid on ensuring participation of every household.
The Kalash Yatra was organised by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. On this occasion, the Kalash Yatra was welcomed at various places by the social organisations of Mussoorie and prasad was also distributed.
Anuj Tayal, Satish Dhoundiyal, Anita Saxena and Mussoorie Trade Union President Rajat Aggarwal said that, after 550 years of penance, struggles and sacrifices of Hindu society, the dream of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is going to come true. The coming 22nd January will be a glorious day for all. He said that, today, the penance of years is being fully fulfilled. Crores of Sanatani people in the country and abroad will celebrate Diwali on 22 January.
During the Akshat Kalash Yatra, people offered flowers at various places along with worship etc. Apart from the local people, a huge crowd of people from nearby villages gathered in the Akshat Kalash Yatra. Devotees came out dancing to the tune of the band along with conch shells. Welcome and fireworks were done at various places. The entire city echoed with slogans of Jai Shri Ram. On the occasion Mohan Petwal, OP Uniyal, Anuj Tayal, Manoj Rayal, Ramesh Dimri, Rakesh Rawat, Kushal Rana, Arvind Semwal, Badal Prakash, Parshuram, Umesh Nautiyal, Mukesh Dhanai, Dhan Prakash, Vijay Butola, Geeta Kumai, Pushpa Padiyar, Anita Dhanai, Anita Saxena, Amit Singhal, Narendra Padiyar, Anita Jawadi, Kuldeep Rawat, Promila Negi, Guddi Devi, Kuldeep Raunchaila, Meera Suyal, Amit Bhatt, Rakesh Thakur, Gajendra Singh, Manoj Rengwal, Rajat Aggarwal, Anil Singh Annu, Ravindra Rawat, Sumit Bhandari, Mohan Shahi, Kamla Thapliyal, Vijay Ramola, Ashish Joshi, Vijay Bindwal, Ashish Kothari, Umed Kumai, Ashutosh Joshi, Sita Panwar, Sunita Dabral, Saurabh Singh and many others were also present.
