Dehradun, 13 Sep: Prabha Khaitan Foundation curated a signature event in the foothills of the Himalayas with debut author Aishwarya Jha, who was in conversation with Pooja P Marwah- Ehsaas woman of Dehradun, on 12 September.
Aishwarya Jha is a writer, designer and entrepreneur from New Delhi. A mentee at the Asian Women Writers’ programme, her poetry, short fiction and essays have been published in numerous literary journals and an anthology at Oxford University. She has also written, directed and starred in a plethora of one-act plays, which have been performed around the world.
The conversation revolved around the author’s dual timeline novel, and conversationalist Pooja P Marwah brought out a varied range of interesting anecdotes from the same. A fiction novel about love that transcends people, societies and countries, ‘The Scent of Fallen Stars’ talks about the complexities in relationships from the 90’s to now. Pooja’s art of enthralling the audience with her witty one-liners kept everyone’s attention to the chatter between the two! The guests were treated with a signed copy of the author’s book to take with them.
The Foundation organised this event with ‘Ehsaas women of Dehradun’ – Pooja Khanna and Pooja Poddar Marwah – in association with venue and hospitality partner, Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa.
