Dehradun, 21 Dec: The Presidency International School, Bhaniyawala, marked its 26th Annual Prize Day with a bold and refreshing celebration of learning through the Wonderfed Edutainment Festival – Second Edition, signalling a shift towards more joyful, experiential, and interdisciplinary education.

The month-long edutainment festival culminated on Prize Day in the presence of Maj Gen Shammi Sabharwal (Retd), who was the Chief Guest. Students, teachers, parents, and educators came together to witness a learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and real-world problem-solving were placed at the centre of the educational experience.

Curated in collaboration with Wonderfed Eduventure, the festival was rooted in project-based, enquiry-driven, and student-led learning. Children explored real-world themes across thoughtfully designed zones focused on empathy, entrepreneurship, sustainability, wealth wisdom, movement, culture, and innovation. These were not treated as isolated subjects, but as interconnected explorations where critical thinking, creative problem-solving, collaboration, ethical reflection, and communication naturally came together. Students designed games, experiences, prototypes, and installations — and confidently stepped into the role of facilitators, guiding parents and visitors through their work.

Speaking about the initiative, Shweta Agarwal, Principal of The Presidency International School, said, “This festival reflects our belief that education must evolve with the times. Wonderfed has helped us create a space where learning is joyful, meaningful, and deeply connected to life beyond textbooks.”

The festival was conceptualised and led by Gunasees Juneja, Founder of Wonderfed Eduventure and Creative Director at The Presidency International School. An alumna of Welham Girls’ School and MICA, she brings together storytelling, play, design thinking, and experiential learning to reimagine education in ways that are engaging, inclusive, and future-ready. “When children are allowed to wonder, question, create, and reflect, education becomes truly transformative,” she shared.
