Dehradun, 30 Dec: Online applications for Anganwadi and Helper posts in rural areas of various districts of the state will be accepted starting 2 January. Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister, Rekha Arya, shared this information, today, and mentioned that the government order for the recruitment had already been issued.
Arya congratulated all the women of the state and wished them a bright future, expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Minister Arya explained that mini-Anganwadi centres have been upgraded in all districts, which has resulted in the creation of new posts. To fill these posts, it was necessary to amend the recruitment rules. She mentioned that, in the previous cabinet meeting, the Anganwadi recruitment rules were revised, paving the way for recruitment. Following this, government orders were issued on 18 and 23 December. Online applications are being invited for these positions. Applications will be accepted from 10 a.m. on 2 January till 5 p.m. on 31 January.

Only women can apply. These vacancies are for rural areas, and applicants must be native or permanent residents of the village. Detailed information about reservations for these posts is available at the offices of the Sub-District Officer, District Program Officer, Block Development Officer, and Child Development Project Officer.
Applicants can apply for only one post. For more information, candidates can contact the nearest Child Development Project Office.
