Reduction in LPG prices is Rakhi gift of Modi to women: Bhatt

Dehradun, 29 Aug: Expressing happiness over the announcement of subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder on Ujjwala gas connections, the BJP today stated that it is PM Modi’s invaluable Raksha Bandhan gift to women, with a total rebate of Rs 400.

In the statement issued by State President Mahendra Bhatt, gratitude was expressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being considerate towards Antyodaya families. Along with this, he said, that the Ujjwala Yojana is working to get 19 lakh poor families of the state free from the smoke of the stove. On this, the Pushkar Singh Dhami government of the state is providing relief to Antyodaya families by providing free refilling of 3 cylinders in a year. Along with this, after the discount of Rs 200 per cylinder already being given by the Union Government, now with the announcement of additional subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder, the Modi government has brought a big smile on the faces of all the needy families. He said, after 30 August, the poor families will benefit from a total subsidy of Rs 400 from the Centre besides getting 3 free refills of gas cylinders per annum.

Bhatt claimed that by fulfilling the responsibility of a true guardian, Modi has given this wonderful gift to the sisters on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, due to which a wave of happiness is running in the state as well as in the country.
