Dehradun, 8 Sep: Anant Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries Limited, has donated Rs 25 crores to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for reconstruction work in Uttarakhand.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, on Friday, received the cheque from Anant Ambani’s representatives.
The Chief Minister praised Reliance Industries for their contribution to the state.
The group on behalf of Anant Ambani promised further contribution in the near future. It may be recalled that, from time to time, Reliance Industries have contributed in such manner to Uttarakhand. After the Raini disaster in Chamoli district, the group had contributed Rs 5 crores to the CM’s Relief Fund.
Earlier, as a member of the Badri Kedar Temple Committee, Anant Ambani, had contributed for work on the revered shrines. Anant Ambani is the younger son of noted industrialist Mukesh Ambani.
