MUMBAI, 23 Aug: Singer Sahil Kapoor launched his much-awaited music album ‘KHWAISH’ on August 18 in Mumbai, in an event held at Tanatan, Juhu, attended by several influencers, celebrities, media personalities and VIPs. The album has been mostly picturised in and around Dehradun. It showcases elements of romance, joy, and the bond between two couples.
Speaking at the launch, Kapoor said, he wanted to do something different this time. He explained that Khwaish, a song about romance, excitement and the true bonding of relationships, portraying love at first sight and true love. From its scratch to the final recording at Jamplifier Studios, New Delhi, it has been a wonderful experience being a part of this song.”
The music video was shot in the village of Purkul, Dehradun, with Kapoor crediting director Pawan Nagpal for his strict yet effective supervision during the shoot amidst challenging weather conditions. The video features four characters, two couples, namely Riva and Devansh, along with Sahil himself and Tanishqa. Kapoor admitted that as a newcomer, it was not easy to be in front of the camera but he put in a lot of effort and confidence.
The lyrics are penned by Saksham Sapra, while Vimal Kapoor has composed the music. The album has been released under SRE Music (Soham Rockstar Entertainment) and is available across major streaming platforms including Spotify, YouTube Music, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Gaana, and Jio Saavn.
Kapoor expressed gratitude to God, his parents, family, friends, the entire KHWAISH team, and mentors for their continuous support and motivation.
