Dehradun, 16 Jul: On the occasion of the Harela Festival, a tree plantation drive was organised in the premises of Sardar Bhagwan Singh University, here, under the leadership of SP Singh (Chancellor) and Dr Gaurav Deep Singh (Secretary, Board of Governors), today.
Prof RK Singh (Officiating Vice Chancellor) accompanied by Prof Veerma Ram (Director, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Prof Maneesh Arora (Dean, Students’ Welfare) and SK Thapliyal (Estate Superintendent) planted saplings of Mahua, Eucalyptus and different varieties of Mangoes in the campus of the University. Like past years, continuing with the mission of “Go Green”, more than 100 saplings were planted.
Present on the occasion were Heads/In-charges/Coordinators of the Departments, Faculty and staff members.
