Dehradun, 20 Feb: At the 25th National Deaf Senior Sports Championship held at Indore, Shourya Saini, a first year Paramedical student at Swami Rama Himalayan University bagged the prestigious gold.
This is yet another big achievement in Saurya’s crown, close on the heels of his bronze medal at Deaflympics 2022.

“He is our brand ambassador and we are proud of his achievements,” he stated.
It may be recalled that the youngster added might to the Indian participation at the 24th Deaflympic in Brazil, by clinching Bronze Medal in 10m Air Rifle shooting event. He finished third with 622.7 points.
The next goal for the champion is gold medal at both the normal hearing Olympics and Deaflympics. “I am driven my this huge dream and I will achieve it for sure,” he averred.
