Dehradun, 1 Feb: The children, staff and management of the school came together to remember and pay their homage to the services rendered by Rev. Daniel Delany. He laid the foundation of the congregation of Patrician Bothers on 2nd Feb. 2020.
The children gathered early in the school auditorium to witness a short programme, which featured colourful dances, a skit on life of Bishop Daniel Delany and melodiously sung hymns by the school choir.
Brother Joseph, the School Principal, addressed the children at the end of the programme and enlightened them with the work of Bishop Daniel Delany. It was because of his vision, he emphasized, that the institutions like St. Patrick’s Academy could materialize. He further urged the children to get educated to gain knowledge, achieve success and become a better human being.
The festive atmosphere in the school carried throughout the day.
