Dehradun, 4 Aug: A unique event was held in the city today wherein children from different countries celebrated cultures from around the world. The programme was held under the aegis of AIESEC.
Students from over 20 countries including Uganda, Egypt, Ghana, Yemen, Ukraine, Canada, Angola, China, Nigeria, Indonesia, Australia, Serbia, Malawi, Brazil and United Kingdom participated in the event.
The participants showcased their nations’ cultures through singing, dancing, food, costumes, music, and traditions.
The students displayed souvenirs, photos, magazines and food from their respective countries. A ramp walk was held on the occasion with the participants wearing their traditional clothes and carrying their countries’ flags. Several games were also organised for the audience present.
Present on the occasion were Vastav Jain, Rohit Mishra among others.
