Rishikesh, 12 Jan: In a continuing effort towards reinforcing Community Healthcare Services, THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has unveiled a noteworthy initiative by flagging off an Ambulance Van dedicated to AIIMS, Rishikesh, at its Corporate Office, Rishikesh.
Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), THDCIL, and Professor Meenu Singh, Director, AIIMS Rishikesh, jointly inaugurated the Ambulance Van, symbolising THDCIL’s commitment to extending healthcare accessibility to remote areas.
RK Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, THDC India Limited, emphasizing the CSR activities, said that the Ambulance Van will serve the rural communities. This underlines THDCIL’s ongoing dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility, highlighting its resolve to positively impact society, especially the underserved and economically challenged population of Uttarakhand.
Vishnoi added that, in addition to core competency in harnessing Energy across diverse verticals such as Hydro, Wind, Thermal, Solar, and PSP, THDC is consistently establishing new benchmarks through State-of-the-Art technologies and initiatives in CSR also. THDCIL is committed to the comprehensive well-being of society, with a particular focus on the state of Uttarakhand. Building on the success story of a similar initiative effectively serving the District of Tehri, the Ambulance Van initiative is part of the THDCIL CSR activities, aligning seamlessly with the company’s core values of excellence, sustainability, and community development.
Director Shallinder Singh added that THDCIL steadfastly upholds its dedication to the holistic welfare of society, with a special focus on Uttarakhand.
Professor Meenu Singh expressed her perspective on this collaborative initiative, stating, “The inauguration of the Ambulance Van today signifies a powerful collaboration between AIIMS, Rishikesh, and THDCIL, dedicated to extending
healthcare services to remote communities.”
