Dehradun, 24 Sep: The operator of a tuition institute in Bhaniawala in Dehradun has allegedly beaten up a boy student for not wishing him good morning. The student’s father has filed a complaint with the police against the tutor for assaulting his son.

Anuj Goyal, son of Kailash Chand Goyal, resident of Ward No 4, Bhaniyawala (Dehradun), has claimed in a complaint to the police that his son, aged 14 years goes for coaching at De-Facto Institute (a coaching centre located in Bhaniwala). Anuj Goyal has stated that his son undertakes tuition from the institute director Gopal Negi. Yesterday, at 4:30 p.m., when his son went to the institute, the institute director beat him up brutally for not sending him a good morning message on his WhatsApp at 4 a.m. It is being claimed the Institute director has allegedly asked all the students to send him a Good Morning message every morning at 4 a.m.

The complaint further alleges that because of being beaten up by the Institute Director, his son has sustained serious injuries. Anuj Goyal has also shared that a total of three students in the tuition class did not send a good morning message to Negi at 4 a.m. One of them was a girl student. Goyal claimed that while the girl student was spared by Negi, the two boy students including his son were beaten up badly. His son was beaten with a stick, slapped hard and his hair was also pulled by the tutor.  After submitting a complaint to the police, Anuj Goyal is learnt to have also got his son medically examined. He has demanded action from the police in this matter.

Meanwhile, Inspector in-charge of Kotwali Doiwala, Vinod Gusain claimed that at present, detailed information is being gathered in the case and any further action will be taken on the basis of the outcome of the inquiry.
