BJP pays tribute to Vajpayee on Birth Anniversary

Dehradun, 25 Dec: The BJP today remembered its ideological and theoretical pillar, Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on his 101st birth anniversary through programmes organised across Uttarakhand today. From the party headquarters to the assembly levels, the party leaders and the workers paid tribute by recalling his immense contributions. In his message issued today, State Party President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt saluted the personality and work of Vajpayee, describing them as miraculous. He asserted that Vajpayee’s visionary leadership gave a new direction to the country’s development and good governance.

Bhatt added that Vajpayee’s entire life has been based on values and ideals and is invaluable to the party workers. His unique sense of duty towards the nation, continuous efforts for the welfare of the poor, and unparalleled organisational support will always remain an inspiration. With regard to Uttarakhand, Bhatt emphasised that the people of the region will always remain grateful to him for the creation of the state.

Following this, speakers at the party headquarters paid floral tributes to his portrait and recalled his significant legacy. All the speakers present at the event unanimously described the contribution of the late leader in the formation of Uttarakhand as incomparable. They expressed confidence that all residents of the Devbhoomi and their future generations will remain indebted for his historic and courageous decision throughout their lives.

Among those who paid tribute at the main event at BJP State headquarters here today included Tehri MP Maharani Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah, State General Secretary Kundan Parihar and former State General Secretary Aditya Kothari and they were the keynote speakers on this occasion.  During the programme, State Office Secretary Jagmohan Rawat, Vinay Ruhela, Subhash Barthwal, and Bhagwat Makwana, State Co-Media In-charge Rajendra Negi, State Spokesperson Mathura Dutt Joshi and Kamlesh Raman, along with a large number of party office bearers and senior workers, were present.
