Dehradun, 14 Apr: UPES recently concluded its Annual Blood Donation Drive. An initiative of the Department of Student Welfare (DSW) and CSR, the event served as a rallying call for individuals from all walks of life to come together and contribute towards the common cause of saving lives.
UPES partnered with the IMA Blood Bank, Dehradun, and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, to orchestrate a well-coordinated and impactful effort.
The three-day event witnessed a remarkable turnout and fostered a sense of community and solidarity among participants. Over 1600 volunteers stepped forward and donated blood.
Beyond the immediate impact of providing life-saving blood supplies, the event left a lasting impression on donors, instilling a sense of pride and fulfilment in contributing to the greater good. Through such initiatives, UPES continues to set a shining example of proactive engagement and social responsibility, inspiring positive change and making a meaningful difference in society.
