Dehradun, 29 May: The Uttarakhandi feature film, ‘Mission Devbhoomi’, based on the culture, society, and contemporary issues of the state, will be released simultaneously in cinemas across Uttarakhand on 30 May. The film aims to project a positive image of Uttarakhand while inspiring greater social awareness.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the official poster of Mission Devbhoomi at a special event, here, today. Present on the occasion were the film’s producer-director Ravi Mamgain, scriptwriter Ruchi Mamgain, and Ravindra Jugran, who portrays the role of a leader and social activist in the film.
The Chief Minister praised the film’s theme and message, stating, “Uttarakhand is not only a land of spirituality and natural beauty but also a land of aware and active citizens. Films like ‘Mission Devbhoomi’ can powerfully convey the identity, culture, and contemporary struggles of the state.”
Mission Devbhoomi explores social challenges, the role of youth, and the cultural legacy of Uttarakhand from a thoughtful and impactful perspective. The film is expected to serve not only as entertainment but also as a medium for public awareness.
