Dehradun, 20 July: There is an atmosphere of celebration in Graphic Era due to the inclusion of Graphic Era Deemed University Chancellor Dr VK Saraswat as a full-time member in NITI Aayog. The officers and teachers of Graphic Era expressed their happiness by distributing sweets in the university today.
Dr Saraswat, decorated with Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, has been included as a full-time member in the restructuring of NITI Aayog. Dr Saraswat was serving as a member of NITI Aayog even before .The Central Government reorganized the NITI Aayog 3 days ago. After the restructuring, Dr Saraswati has been given full responsibility in the NITI Aayog headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr Saraswat, who has served as Director General of DRDO and Chief Scientific Advisor to the Defense Minister, is the country’s top scientist. Dr Saraswat’s name is mainly associated with the development of Prithvi missile.
The joy of inclusion of Dr Saraswat, as a full-time member in the reorganized NITI Aayog was expressed by distributing sweets in Graphic Era today. Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Chairman Dr Kamal Ghanshala Congratulating him said that this is a matter of great pride and joy for Graphic Era. The Chancellor is joining the NITI Aayog which aspires for the development of the country and becoming a full time member again is a matter of great inspiration for thousands of students and teachers of Graphic Era .And this strengthens the confidence to move forward in the right direction. Under the leadership of Dr Saraswati, known as Missile Man 2, the University is moving towards new heights in the field of technology, science and research.
Pro Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University Dr Rakesh Kumar Sharma expressed his joy and said that it is a day of pride for Graphic Era. Under the guidance of Chancellor Dr Saraswat, the University has achieved newer heights in science and technology and is carving its way in the global scenario.
Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Dr Sanjay Jasola and other officials also congratulated Dr Saraswat and expressed their happiness.
