DEHRADUN, 15 Mar: World Speech Day is an event created by Britain based Simon Gibson to celebrate the art of speech making, thereby sharing ideas and changing lives! This formal public speaking programme was undertaken at Ecole Globale International Girls’ School, here, today.
The ten selected speakers delivered their maiden speech on the topic, “World Citizens: It’s a state of mind”.
The panache and passion with which the girls took to the stage was a treat to watch and hear.
Speaking on the occasion, Officiating Principal Roopa Gosain lauded the performance of the girls and shared her thoughts on world unity.
Speech making is a complex communication activity that instills confidence, teaches poise, grace and good body language, while facing an audience and Ecoliers resonated with their abounding views on global citizenship!
