Dehradun, 10 Oct: The 127 Infantry Battalion (TA) Ecological Garhwal Rifles has been carrying out ecological restoration of degraded areas of Uttarakhand since its raising. The battalion will conduct a Recruitment Rally at Jaswant Singh Ground, here, from 18 to 23 November 2024 for eligible Ex-Servicemen from the Armed Forces and ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department.
This recruitment rally presents an opportunity for ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces and ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and state forest department to volunteer and join its ranks to continue serving the nation and contribute to the ecological uplift of Uttarakhand.
Eligible and willing candidates have been invited to participate in the said recruitment rally.
Male Ex-servicemen (pension holders) retired from the Armed forces within five years and ex-women employees of MoEF & CC and the state forest department with minimum 20 years of service are eligible to participate in the recruitment rally. Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria specified for enrolment. Interested candidates are advised to report to the designated venue for screening at 6 a.m. on 18 November. The rally will proceed with document check and physical test on 18 and 19 November, followed by a medical test and interview of candidates selected in physicals from 20-23 November.
Vacancies are open for One Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and 37 Soldier General Duty from state of Uttarakhand only and All India for vacancy of 4 Soldier Chef Community, 4 Soldier Artisan Wood Work, 3 Soldier Washerman, 2 Soldier Dresser, 2 Soldier House Keeper, 2 Soldier Artisan Metallurgy, 2 Soldier Tailor, 3 Soldier Equipment Repairer and 2 Soldier Clerk. Ex-women employees are eligible to apply for Soldier General Duty only.
Ex-servicemen Candidates participating in the recruitment rally should be carry the following documents in original – Discharge book, Pension Payment Order (PPO), Army Group Insurance Extended (AGI) certificate, 8 passport size photographs. Ex-women employees must carry in original Pension Order, certificate from concerned department where served for 20 years, 8 passport size photographs.
