Dehradun, 22 Jun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while holding a review meeting of the Estates Department at the Secretariat, today, expressed displeasure with the presentation made by the officials and directed them to ensure that everything they took up was done in a systematic and planned manner in order to ensure maximum output at minimum cost. He observed that, to improve the economy of the state, the departments would have to do systematic planning and execution. He said that whatever new schemes are to be drawn up for various construction works should be completed with full quality within the stipulated time period. The Chief Minister said that, in 2025, when Uttarakhand would be celebrating the silver jubilee of its existence, all the government departments would have to be working with best coordination with each other in order to ensure that it becomes a leading state in the country in several spheres.

The Chief Minister warned the officers of strict action in case the quality of construction works proves not up to the mark. He directed the officers to work on an integrated plan. Unhappy with the presentation of the Department, he instructed the officers that the presentation should be clear. He also noted that work ought to be also done to solve the problems arising on the ground.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Vinod Kumar Suman, Additional Secretary Pratap Shah and officers of the Estates Department were present.
