Dehradun, 21 Apr: Specialists at Graphic Era Hospital have achieved a significant milestone by successfully treating a 5 year old child using the advanced POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy) technique, giving him a new lease of life. This advanced procedure has been performed successfully for the first time on such a young patient in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
The child had been suffering from severe difficulty in swallowing and frequent vomiting for the past three years.
