Mussoorie, 15 Jul: At the behest of the Divisional President, seven doctors of Mussoorie have been felicitated by Lions Club Mussoorie Hill.
At a function organised in a local auditorium, Lions Club Mussoorie Hills honoured Dr Mayank Badola, Chief Medical Officer of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administrative Academy, surgeon Dr Krishna Reddy, dentist Dr Pratik Pandey, Dr Sanya Dhingra, Dr Vipul Tomar and Medical Officer of Belvonnes Care Centre, Barlowganj, Dr Sneha Panwar, and Dr Shilpa Rawat by presenting certificates and mementos.
On this occasion, extensive discussions were held on the lack of medical facilities for the common person in Mussoorie and various other topics of public interest.
The Chief Guest, Academy Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mayank Badola, discussed in detail the sacrifices, hard work and struggle of the parents in becoming a doctor. Appreciating the immense contribution of doctors in the medical field, he called for the club’s cooperation in preventing tuberculosis. At the same time, at the demand of the club, he assured that the people of Mussoorie would be given the benefit of the qualifications and experience of all his doctors in public interest through free health check-up camps.
On this occasion three new members Sandeep Goyal, Monica Agarwal and Mamta Bhatia took membership of the club. Senior members of the club welcomed them into the club with the Lions pin. On this occasion club President Praveen Gupta, Secretary Anuj Tayal, Health Chairman S Panwar, MM Shama, RN Mathur, Shiv Arora, GK Gupta, Vivek Bahuguna, Nidhi Bahuguna, Madhulika Mathur, Rajni Panwar and many others were also present.
