CM orders time-bound implementation of announcements during review meeting

DEHRADUN, 2 Apr: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday reviewed the status of announcements related to the Assembly constituencies of Yamkeshwar, Pauri, Srinagar, Chaubattakhal, Lansdowne and Kotdwar at the Secretariat. He instructed the officials to ensure that all the pending government orders linked to announcements related to development projects are issued by June 15. The CM emphasised that effective monitoring must be carried out through a Programme Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) chart.
Dhami also directed the related departments to resolve issues concerning electricity, drinking water, forest fires, human–wildlife conflict and the roads at the earliest, while giving special attention to improving health facilities. He said that the problems raised by the MLAs must be taken seriously and resolved on priority. He asked departments to work in close coordination to ensure timely solutions to public grievances.
Very importantly, the Chief Minister announced that a hostel for girls will be constructed in every development block. For this, the schools with the highest number of girl students will be identified and land made available for the hostels. He further instructed that Raghunath Temple, Laxman Temple in Kot block and Sita Mata Temple in Phalswadi be also developed as part of a grand religious circuit.
Dhami said that the proposals submitted by the MLAs for opening Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) must be processed by the Education Department and district magistrates in line with central government norms so that approvals are obtained without delay. He also directed that a multipurpose hall be built in Pauri to help youth prepare for competitive examinations.
The CM also directed the officials to ensure that problems raised during the meeting are resolved by the concerned departmental secretaries on priority. He added that the ropeway-related cases under announcements should be reviewed separately, while parking issues must be addressed urgently. He also ordered that solar panels be installed regularly in government offices.
Among those present on the occasion included Cabinet Ministers Satpal Maharaj and Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, lMLAs Renu Bisht, Rajkumar Pori and Dalip Singh Rawat, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Dr R Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Ravinath Raman, Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr R Rajesh Kumar and Ranvir Singh Chauhan, along with heads of the departments concerned. At the same time, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey and Pauri District Magistrate Swati Bhadauria joined virtually.
