Dehradun, 30 Jun: Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) today visited the residence of former Governor of Mizoram and Puducherry, Lieutenant General MM Lakhera (Retd), here, and paid floral tributes following his demise.
On the occasion, the Governor met the bereaved family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. He prayed for strength and courage for the family to bear this irreparable loss.
The Governor said that Lieutenant General MM Lakhera’s dedicated service to the nation, exemplary military leadership, and significant contributions to public life will always remain a source of inspiration.
