Mahendra Bhatt congratulates nominated municipal councillors, expresses gratitude to CM

Dehradun, 14 Jul: The BJP has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the nomination of municipal councillors in one municipal corporation, twelve municipal boards and ten municipal councils across Uttarakhand. State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt today extended warm congratulations to all the newly appointed members and urged them to dedicate themselves to carrying development and welfare works to the grassroots and to accelerate development in their respective towns and cities and to ensure collective contribution towards building a developed Uttarakhand.

Bhatt said that the government has provided opportunities for committed party workers to serve as nominated members, including eight in Haldwani Municipal Corporation, five each in Sitarganj and Ramnagar, three in Purola, six in Nainital, five in Manglaur, three in Kaladhungi, three in Chinyalisaur, two in Bhawali, four in Vikasnagar, three in Herbertpur, three in Gangolihat and three in Berinag. Similarly, in municipal councils, three members each have been nominated in Shaktigarh, Selakui, Naugaon, Nagla and Munsyari, four in Landour, three each in Lalpur and Lalkuan, four in Jhabreda and three in Bhagwanpur. He conveyed his best wishes to all the party workers entrusted with these new responsibilities and thanked the CM for reposing faith in their abilities and assigning them important roles.

The State BJP President further expressed confidence that all the newly nominated members will discharge the responsibilities given by the government with full dedication and capacity. He said their contribution would be crucial in ensuring that development works and welfare schemes reach the common people effectively in their respective municipalities and councils. By connecting the needy residents with these initiatives, they will become a significant medium of change in towns and cities.
