Journey akin to flying above the clouds

Mussoorie, 19 Jul: Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani visited Mussoorie for the first time today and was instantly captivated by its natural beauty, lush greenery, and valleys shrouded in clouds. She described the journey from Dehradun to Mussoorie as one of the most beautiful trips of her life, noting that it felt as though she was floating above the clouds to reach the destination.
Speaking to journalists, Sangeeta Bijlani remarked that while she has visited many beautiful places, Mussoorie is truly unique. The weather, mountains, greenery, and serene atmosphere here offer a sense of peace to the soul. She expressed immense joy at visiting Mussoorie for the first time and stated that the experience would remain etched in her memory forever.
Bijlani also emphasised the need to preserve Mussoorie’s beauty. She noted that, while nature has bestowed unique beauty upon the town, safeguarding it for future generations is equally important. She stressed the need to focus specifically on environmental conservation and cleanliness, noting that a safe environment ensures a safe life.
She observed that tourist destinations are defined by their natural beauty; therefore, locals, tourists, and the administration must work together to ensure cleanliness and environmental protection. She also highlighted the need to be sensitive regarding rising pollution and unplanned development in the mountains.
When asked about a potential return to films, Sangeeta Bijlani smiled and said there were no such plans at the moment. She remarked that some things in life should remain surprises or mysteries; if everything were predetermined and known, the thrill of life would be lost.
Captivated by the valleys of Mussoorie, the actress also shared a significant message: nature is not merely a place for sightseeing, but the very foundation of life. In such a scenario, everyone must shoulder the responsibility of preserving beautiful heritage sites like Mussoorie. This remark of hers has once again underscored the need to strike a balance between tourism and environmental conservation.
