Dehradun, 7 Oct: A complaint petition has been filed before the court on Wednesday by Advocate Pankaj Sundariyal, representing Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, against Congress leader Pankaj Kshetri, in connection with the complaint filed by Kshetri before the Vigilance Court alleging possession of assets disproportionate to the minister’s known sources of income.

Advocate Pankaj Sundariyal said that Pankaj Kshetri had submitted a false complaint and fabricated evidence before the court. He said the fresh complaint has been filed seeking registration of a case and legal action against Kshetri.

The advocate further stated that Kshetri had alleged that Ganesh Joshi’s son and daughter were dependent on him, which, he said, was completely untrue. He clarified that Ganesh Joshi’s daughter was married in 2015 and her husband is a Captain in the Merchant Navy. His son, he said, had been working with a shipping company in 2008 and now runs an independent company.

The advocate also clarified that a complaint on the same issues had been filed by Vikesh Negi two years ago, which had already been dismissed by the court. He said that under the law, repeated complaints on the same matter cannot be pursued.

He alleged that the complaint had been filed with political malice and was based on false allegations.
