Dehradun, 14 Dec: BJP state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan today claimed that as the result of persistent and relentless action against the mafia by the Dhami government, land frauds have been reduced to a great extent.
Responding to Congress’s allegations, he asserted that that the allegation against the government of giving protection to the land mafia is baseless. Instead of giving protection to the land mafia, the government has sent them behind bars. In Uttarakhand, a strict law has been made to avoid land fraud and against land fraud.
He said that SIT has also been formed to investigate land frauds. The agencies have been working with transparency in every matter. He said that in any case in which a preliminary report is filed, investigation and action is certain.
Chauhan said that earlier in the Congress governments, even filing of report was not possible. The most infamous and biggest land frauds since the formation of the state took place during the Congress rule. But today hearings and proceedings are also taking place in the Dhami government.
He said that investigation and action is certain in every case, because the Dhami government is working on the policy of zero tolerance against corruption.
