Mussoorie, 28 Jan: The birthday (31 January ) of Minister Ganesh Joshi is being celebrated as ‘service week’ by the office-bearers and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party. On the third day of Seva Week, Saturday, Joshi participated in a programme organised by the BJP Mussoorie Mandal at the Shri Radhakrishna Temple.
‘Minister of State’ rank Jyoti Prasad Gairola registered his presence as the Chief Guest.
On this occasion, 6 ACs for the Shri Radhakrishna Temple were presented by Ganesh Joshi and Chief Guest Gairola. Ten sewing machines were distributed to women of self-help groups.
On this occasion, party workers extended advance greetings and best wishes to Joshi on his birthday and wished him a long life. Gairola said that Minister Ganesh Joshi, in his political innings, works with the spirit of service by connecting with the underprivileged and the deprived. With this, Joshi has won the hearts of the people.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi expressed his gratitude to all the people of Mussoorie for their love.
He said, “I have seen and felt poverty very closely. I never forget my past, that is why I serve poor helpless people. At every auspicious event in his family, be it the birthdays of his wife or children, he has sought to distribute happiness among the poor and helpless people of society.
He claimed that it was because of the love and blessings of the people of Mussoorie that he had become an MLA, thrice. He promised to continue to serve the people of Mussoorie not as an MLA or a minister, but as a brother and a son.
He claimed that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state is continuously making efforts to be included among the nation’s leading states.
