Haridwar, 4 Jul: The Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Gurukul Kangri deemed to be University has secured approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to launch new MTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) for Working Professionals programmes. This development promises to significantly enhance the academic and professional landscape for students in Uttarakhand, offering them advanced opportunities to improve their skills, learn cutting-edge technologies, and secure promising job prospects.
Head of Department Mayank Aggarwal expressed his delight, “This approval marks a new era for our institution, enabling us to provide more diverse and advanced educational opportunities to our students. Our new programmes are designed to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in the rapidly evolving tech industry.”
Dean Vipul Sharma also congratulated the faculty and staff, acknowledging their hard work and dedication in making this vision a reality. “This is a proud moment for us all. The introduction of these programmes will not only benefit our current and prospective students but will also contribute to the growth of the tech ecosystem in Uttarakhand,” he remarked. He also added that, as per AICTE policy, students with valid GATE score taking admissions in MTech shall be eligible for scholarship from AICTE, as per AICTE norms.
Registrar Sunil Kumar and Vice-Chancellor Ambuj Sharma extended their heartfelt gratitude to AICTE for their support and approval. “We are deeply grateful to AICTE for recognising our efforts and granting us the approval to start these innovative programmes. This will undoubtedly open new avenues for our students and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development,” they stated.
The programmes are set to commence in the upcoming academic session, with admissions opening soon.
