DEHRADUN, 4 July: Garhwal Post‘s 29th Anniversary Edition was presented to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami by publisher Satish Sharma at his official residence on Thursday.
Sharma also gifted him Ruskin Bond’s books for his sons. And another book on ‘Vikram Sarabhai – India’s Space Pioneer’ written by Padmanabh Joshi and Divya Arora.
Dhami also conveyed his best wishes to Special Correspondent Arun Pratap Singh on his birthday.
Veteran journalist Upendra Kumar Sharma was also present at the meeting.
Satish Sharma later presented the same issue to the Governor, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), at the Raj Bhawan.
They both discussed the journey of Garhwal Post and issues related to the state.
The Governor displaying regard for veteran journalist Upendra Sharma after the brief meeting presented him a scarf with images of Badrinath and Kedarnath.
